Choosing your puppy
We begin puppy selection as soon as puppies are born. If you would like an early pick, please stay in close touch with us as the due date of your desired litter grows near! We reserve puppies on a "first come, first served" basis. If you have joined our email list, your will receive a birth announcement via email. If you would like to stay in closer touch, please text Jane and we can give you updates in real time.
We take very high quality pictures for our website, and can easily text or email you additional photos or videos as requested. We can also give you our best advice on puppy size/coat type as you choose your puppy.
Remember, every Inland Doodles Puppy is excellent and there are no inferior picks at Inland Doodles! A puppy chosen from a smaller selection is in no way a less special pick. We will be available to answer all your questions, big or small, during puppy selection to help you decide which puppy to reserve!
Health Guarantee and Purchase Agreement
Your puppy will come with a 2 year guarantee for any genetic condition that will significantly affect their quality of life. We also request each puppy owner to sign a purchase agreement promising to properly care for their puppy. You can read our Health Guarantee and Purchase agreement HERE.
Spay/Neuter
Our puppies are sold as pets (not for breeding), therefore we request a commitment from each of our puppies owners that you will have your puppy neutered at an appropriate age.
Watch your puppy grow
Weekly photos of the of puppies will be on the website to keep you updated on how your puppy is changing week by week. Puppies are born with their eyes still sealed shut, so they will appear to be sleeping until about the third week, then we try to get photos while they are alert and awake so you can see their faces. It's fun to get a weekly portrait update, and we encourage you to save and share photos of your growing puppy on social media!
Bringing your puppy home
Puppies will be ready to go home when they are 8-9 weeks of age. You may pick up your puppy here on the farm, or in the Seattle area when we bring our “westside” puppies over as a group (at no extra cost).
We can usually accommodate a “meet partway” situation for those who are driving a very long distance for their dog. (Travel fee applies)
Airport pickup: Flying to pick up your puppy is easy. Your puppy can ride home with you in the cabin! We provide the necessary paperwork from the vet, as well as a soft-sided travel crate required by airlines. Our airport is Spokane International Airport (GEG) and is about 1 hour from our farm. There is no extra fee for airport pickup.
Second opinion vet check
Our puppies are checked out by our vet prior to going home, and you will receive the paperwork for this visit. However, if you wish to have another visit with your own vet, you are welcome to do that within 3 of when your new puppy comes home. Make sure to schedule your vet check early, most vets have a busy schedule!
Visitors
We are extremely vigilant about protecting our puppies from outside diseases before they have had their vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. If you’d like to visit, please schedule a time to come out to the farm after your puppy is six weeks old. Before that we can send extra videos and photos at your request!
